A passenger reported that about one hour into the flight there was smoke in the cabin, all seats lost power and most of the cabin lighting went dark.
The occurrence aircraft was repaired (a generator control unit was replaced), departed again after about 4 hours on the ground and reached Honolulu with a delay of 6 hours.
