A Canaryfly Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-200, registration EC-GQF performing flight PM-467 from Tenerife Norte,CI to Santa Cruz,CI (Spain), was in the initial climb out of Tenerife when the crew decided to return to the Los Rodeos Airport after an odour of burning rubber was detected on board. The aircraft landed safely back about 7 minutes after departure.

The airline confirmed the smell of burning rubber on board, however, emergency services did not need to intervene. The aircraft was examined and returned to service the following day.
