A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration N645SW performing flight WN-3286 from Oakland,CA to Burbank,CA (USA), was on final approach to Burbank's runway 08 when a number of birds impacted the aircraft. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 08 a few minutes later.

The FAA reported the aircraft sustained minor damage when it was struck by several birds during landing.

Subsequent arrivals on runway 08 were advised of a flock of birds by tower.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 23 hours after landing.
