A Thomas Cook Airlines Airbus A320-200, registration OO-TCN performing flight FQ-4508 from Brussels (Belgium) to Tenerife Sur Reina Sofia,CI (Spain), was enroute at FL350 about 250nm southsouthwest of Lisbon (Portugal) when a female passenger (22) became ill. A doctor on board suspected a heart attack and recommended landing at the soonest to take the patient to a hospital. The aircraft landed safely on Lisbon's runway 03 about 40 minutes later. The patient and companion were taken to a hospital.

The aircraft departed Lisbon after about 2:20 hours on the ground and reached Tenerife with a delay of 3.5 hours.

The hospital diagnosed a heart attack, following first aid and treatment the patient is on the way to recovery.
