An American Eagle Embraer ERJ-140, registration N807AE performing flight MQ-3067 from Los Angeles,CA to Monterey,CA (USA) with 32 passengers and 3 crew, aborted the approach to Monterey's runway 28L due to flaps problems, climbed to 6000 feet and entered a holding to troubleshoot. The aircraft landed safely on runway 28L at a higher than normal speed about 35 minutes later.

The aircraft was able to depart for the return flight MQ-3078 with a delay of 2 hours.
