A UTAir Boeing 737-500, registration VQ-BPP performing flight UT-364 from Ufa to Moscow Vnukovo (Russia), was on final approach to Vnukovo's runway 24 when the aircraft went around and climbed back to 6000 feet due to an unsafe gear indication. The crew worked the related checklists, positioned the aircraft for another approach to runway 24 and landed safely about 35 minutes after going around.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 15 hours after landing.
