A Jazz de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration C-GGMU performing flight QK-8650 from London,ON to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 61 people on board, was climbing out of London when the crew received a left hand engine (PW150A) fire warning. The crew reduced the power on the engine and the fire indication ceased. The crew shut the engine down as a precaution and returned to London for a safe landing about 25 minutes after departure. Emergency services found no evidence of fire, heat or smoke.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance identified a fault in the P2.7 valve and the fire control amplifier. Both were replaced.
