A KLM Cityhopper Embraer ERJ-190, registration PH-EZB performing flight WA-1795/KL-1795 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Munich (Germany), was climbing between FL060 and FL130 out of Amsterdam when the crew declared PAN PAN PAN reporting a strange fume on board and requesting to return to Amsterdam's runway 27. The aircraft returned to Amsterdam for a safe landing on runway 27 about 20 minutes later.

A replacement ERJ-190 registration PH-EZM reached Munich with a delay of 2:10 hours.
