A Qatar Airways Airbus A330-200, registration A7-ACB performing flight QR-1154 from Doha (Qatar) to Dammam (Saudi Arabia), landed on Dammam's runway 16R but suffered a hydraulic leak during roll out. The aircraft turned onto high speed turn off B2 and stopped past the hold short line.

The next arrival, Airbus A330-200 registration PH-AON performing flight KL-411 from Amsterdam (Netherlands), was on final approach to runway 16R descending through about 1500 feet AGL when the crew was instructed to go around and went around. The aircraft positioned for an approach to runway 16L and landed safely about 13 minutes after the go around.

A replacement Airbus A330-200 registration A7-ACD was dispatched to Dammam to perform the return flight QR-1155, which reached Doha with a delay of 6 hours.

The occurence aircraft positioned to Doha the following day after about 18.5 hours on the ground in Dammam and resumed service after arrival in Doha.
