A Fuzhou Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration B-7395 performing flight FU-6509 from Fuzhou to Kunming (China), was climbing out of Fuzhou's runway 21 when the crew stopped the climb at 6600 meters (about FL217) after a bird had impacted a pitot tube causing disagreeing air data. The crew decided to return to Fuzhou, burned off fuel and landed safely back in Fuzhou.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration B-7105 reached Kunming with a delay of 6.5 hours.
