An Easyjet Airbus A320-200, registration G-EZTY performing flight U2-7688 from Basel/Mulhouse (Switzerland/France) to Lisbon (Portugal) with 179 passengers and 6 crew, was climbing through FL250 out of Basel when the flight crew observed vibrations and an odour in the cockpit that ceased after about one minute. The crew continued the flight and was enroute at FL350 about 130nm northeast of Toulouse (France), when the vibrations, unusual sounds and an electrical odour occurred again. The crew decided to divert to Toulouse, where the aircraft landed safely about 25 minutes later.

Switzerland's SUST reported on Aug 15th 2016 they have opened an investigation into the occurrence rated a serious incident.
