An Air Georgian Canadair CRJ-100, registration C-FWJF performing flight ZX-7383 from Minneapolis,MN (USA) to Toronto,ON (Canada) with 52 people on board, was enroute at FL330 about 55nm northeast of Grand Rapids,MI (USA) when the left hand windshield cracked. The crew worked the related checklists, descended the aircraft to FL250 at first, then FL170 and continued the flight to Toronto. The crack kept spreading to a point where the captain's vision was impaired, the captain therefore handed control of the aircraft to the first officer and declared PAN. The aircraft landed safely in Toronto about 40 minutes after leaving FL330.

The Canadian TSB reported the windshield was replaced.
