An Aurora de Havilland Dash 8-400, registration RA-67254 performing flight HZ-783 from Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk to Okha (Russia), was climbing through FL100 towards FL250 out of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk when the crew noticed the cabin did not pressurize properly. Unable to identify the cause of the cabin pressure problem the crew decided to return to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk for a safe landing.

On Jul 27th 2016 Russia's Rosaviatsia reported the cabin did not pressurize because the switch AUTO/MAN/DUMP had been left in the position DUMP indicating that two cockpit preparation checklists prior to departure as well as the cabin pressure abnormal checklists had not been properly run by the crew.
