A Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-300, registration B-KQY performing flight CX-270 from Amsterdam (Netherlands) to Hong Kong (China), was enroute at FL330 about 50nm northeast of Minsk (Belarus) when the crew detected a possible fuel leak at one of the engines (GE90) and decided to divert to Minsk, where the aircraft landed safely on runway 31 about one hour later.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Minsk 27 hours after landing.

A replacement Boeing 777-300 registration B-KQT positioned from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Minsk as flight CX-256 and arrived in Hong Kong still as flight CX-256 with a delay of 13 hours.
