The aircraft remained on the ground for about 5:20 hours then continued the flight for the next sector to Santiago (Chile).
The airline reported it was believed there were gasses coming from the cargo hold caused the delay. However, no gasses were detected and the aircraft was released to continue the flight without further detection of fumes.
