The occurrence aircraft remained on the ground for about 12 hours, then returned to service.
Following the initial report The Aviation Herald received information that the EEC (Electronic Engine Control) had been literally fried. The EEC was replaced, the aircraft returned to service but suffered again a fried EEC. Only then it was discovered that the clamp of an engine anti ice duct had come loose and was blowing hot air directly onto the EEC. Following another replacement of the EEC and repair of the clamp and duct the aircraft returned to service without further incidents.
