A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-700, registration N905WN performing flight WN-4077 from Las Vegas,NV to Ontario,CA (USA), was climbing out of Las Vegas' runway 25R when the crew stopped the climb at 10,000 feet, declared emergency reporting a control issue and returned to Las Vegas for a safe landing on runway 25R about 15 minutes after departure.

A replacement Boeing 737-700 registration N552WN reached Ontario with a delay of 2.5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft resumed service after about 15 hours on the ground.
