A THY Turkish Airlines Airbus A321-200, registration TC-JRG performing flight TK-378 (dep May 4th) from Istanbul (Turkey) to Tbilisi (Georgia) with 156 passengers, landed on Tbilisi's runway 31L at 00:50L (20:50Z May 4th) but touched down hard. The aircraft rolled out without further incident and taxied to the apron. The damage is being assessed.

The aircraft was unable to depart for the return flight TK-379, the flight needed to be cancelled.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Tbilisi about 24 hours after landing.
