A Norwegian Airlines Boeing 737-800, registration LN-NHF performing flight DY-414 from Oslo to Aalesund (Norway), was on final approach to Aalesund's runway 25 when the aircraft was struck by lightning prompting the crew to go around from about 1900 feet. The aircraft entered a hold at FL100, then the crew decided to return to Oslo. The aircraft landed safely back on Oslo's runway 01L about one hour after the go-around.

A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration LN-NIA reached Aalesund with a delay of 5 hours.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 22 hours after landing.
