A Jazeera Airways Airbus A320-200, registration 9K-CAL performing flight J9-165 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to Kuwait City (Kuwait) with 140 people on board, was climbing out of Dubai when the crew reported a possible tyre problem. The crew continued the flight to Kuwait and performed a low approach to Kuwait's runway 33L to have the wheels inspected from the ground. The aircraft landed safely on runway 33L about 20 minutes after the low approach.

The airline said the ground inspection, performed as a precaution, confirmed the aircraft could land safely with no anomalies observed from the ground. Following landing one of the tyres needed to be replaced due to minor damage as result of a number of factors including hot weather.
