A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration N624SW performing flight WN-50 from Dallas Love,TX to Kansas City,MO (USA) with 143 passengers and 5 crew, was enroute at FL360 about 30nm south of Wichita,KS (USA) when the crew initiated an emergency descent due to the loss of cabin pressure, the passenger oxygen masks were released. The aircraft diverted to Wichita's Mid Continent Airport for a safe landing on runway 01R about 35 minutes later.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled.

The airline confirmed the crew received a cabin pressurization alert and diverted to Wichita.
