Passengers reported the cabin lights and reading lights suddenly extinguished. The captain subsequently announced a problem with the right hand engine.
Russian Media reported the crew shut the right hand engine down at about 2000 meters while on approach to Saint Petersburg and returned to Helsinki.
The airline reported the aircraft received a lightning strike on approach to St. Petersburg and returned to Helsinki.
The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground 36 hours after landing.
