A Jetblue Airbus A320-200, registration N809JB performing flight B6-497 from Boston,MA to Seattle,WA (USA) with 123 people on board, was enroute at FL360 about 20nm northwest of Buffalo,NY (USA) when the crew reported an electrical odour in the cockpit and decided to divert to Buffalo, where the aircraft, second Jetblue aircraft diverting to Buffalo that day, landed safely on Buffalo's runway 23 about 20 minutes later.

The airline confirmed the flight diverted due to an electrical odour on board out of abundance of caution.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration N629JB reached Seattle with a delay of 5.5 hours.
