A Horizon Air de Havilland Dash 8-400 on behalf of Alaska Airlines, registration N435QX performing flight AS-2372 from Seattle,WA to Spokane,WA (USA), was on approach to Spokane's runway 03 when the crew donned their oxygen masks reporting smoke in the cockpit and cabin advising ATC they were planning to stop on the runway and evacuate. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on runway 03, stopped near taxiway C and initiated the evacuation of the aircraft via the rear doors. No injuries are being reported. Emergency services reported significant smoke in the cockpit. The passengers were bussed to the terminal.

Passengers reported the cabin filled with smoke and smell of oil very rapidly, the flight attendants were discharging fire extinguishers and instructed passengers to let them know if the floor underneath their feet was hot.
