A Sunwing Boeing 737-800, registration C-GOWG performing flight WG-274 from Mazatlan (Mexico) to Edmonton,AB (Canada), was on an ILS approach to Edmonton's runway 30 when the crew could not select more than 10 degrees of flaps. The crew went around, joined a downwind and worked the trailing edge flaps disagree checklist. The crew was subsequently able to extend the flaps to 15 degrees and decided to land in this configuration. The aircraft landed safely at a higher than normal speed, emergency services were requested on stand by to check the brakes.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance was unable to reproduce the fault and returned the aircraft to service.
