A Compass Airlines Embraer ERJ-175 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N629CZ performing flight DL-5749 from Seattle,WA to San Diego,CA (USA), was climbing out of Seattle when the crew stopped the climb at FL290 due to hissing noise from one of the aircraft doors. The aircraft descended to FL230 but continued into the general direction of San Diego. Due to pressurization issues developing about 100nm southeast of Portland,OR (USA) the crew descended the aircraft to 14,000 feet and decided to return to Seattle for a safe landing on runway 16L about 90 minutes after departure.

The flight was cancelled.
