A UVT Aero Canadair CRJ-200, flight UW-535 from Kazan to Volgograd (Russia) with 16 passengers and 4 crew, was climbing out of Kazan when the crew reported a cracked windshield and returned to Kazan for a safe landing.

Russia's Emergency Ministry reported the aircraft carried 16 passengers and 2 crew when it returned to Kazan due to a cracked windshield.

UVT Aero started operation in July 2015 and as of Nov 30th 2015 operates 6 CRJ-200s out of former Ak Bars Aero's fleet, that went bankrupt in January 2015.
