A British Airways Airbus A380-800, registration G-XLEH performing flight BA-56 from Johannesburg (South Africa) to London Heathrow,EN (UK), had just levelled off at initial cruise level 340 when the crew decided to return to Johannesburg due to a failed weather radar. The aircraft descended to FL200, dumped fuel and landed safely back in Johannesburg about 2.5 hours after departure.

The flight was cancelled.
