West Wind A748 at Malakal on Nov 10th 2015, forced landing shortly after takeoff

A West Wind Aviation Hawker Siddeley HS-780 Andover on behalf of United Nations' World Food Programme (WFP), registration TL-AEW performing a positioning flight from Malakal to Wau (South Sudan) with 4 crew, departed Malakal Airport, the crew however needed to put the aircraft down about 2000 meters from the runway into an open field near River Nile. The aircraft burst into flames, the crew was able to evacuate in time however and escaped without serious injuries, the aircraft burned down and was damaged beyond repair.

WFP confirmed they had chartered the aircraft to distribute food. The aircraft had landed in Malakal to offload its cargo and was then headed to Wau, when the crew was forced to land the aircraft outside the aerodrome.
