A SAS Scandinavian Airlines Airbus A330-300, registration LN-RKM performing flight SK-926 from Washington Dulles,DC (USA) to Copenhagen (Denmark) with 246 passengers, was enroute at FL370 about 20nm northeast of New York's JFK Airport,NY (USA) when the crew reported problems with the oil pressure of an engine (Trent 772) and decided to divert to Newark,NJ (USA). The crew requested the longest runway available and accepted an ILS approach to runway 22L sidestepping to runway 22R. The aircraft intercepted localizer 22L, side stepped to runway 22R, landed safely on runway 22R and taxied to the apron.

The airline reported the passengers were taken to hotels and were rebooked onto other flights the following day.

The occurrence aircraft is still on the ground in Newark about 20 hours after landing.
