Pinnacle CRJ2 near New York on Jul 6th 2012, lost all primary but standby instruments

A Pinnacle Canadair CRJ-200 on behalf of Delta Airlines, registration N8432A performing flight 9E-4143/DL-4143 from Norfolk,VA to Boston,MA (USA) with 44 people on board, was enroute at FL270 about 35nm southsouthwest of New York's JFK Airport when the crew declared emergency reporting they had basically lost all their primary instruments except for the stand by instrumentation and decided to divert to New York's JFK Airport. Offered a VOR/DME approach to runway 13L the crew declined stating they had no navigation, too, and would need a visual approach. The aircraft was vectored onto finals for runway 13L and concluded the visual final approach with a safe landing.

The remainder of the flight was cancelled, the passengers were rebooked onto other flights.
