A PIA Pakistan International Airlines Boeing 747-300, registration AP-BFU performing flight PK-302 from Karachi to Lahore (Pakistan), ingested a bird into its #2 engine (RB211, inboard left hand) while on approach to Lahore. The crew continued the landing and stopped safely.

The return flight was initially postponed, then cancelled.

The incident aircraft was able to position back to Karachi as flight PK-3032 the following day but did not resume service so far.
