An AeroBratsk Yakovlev Yak-40, registration RA-88215 performing a charter flight from Lensk to Bratsk (Russia) with 17 passengers and 4 crew, was enroute at FL210 about half way into the flight when the crew needed to shut down the left hand engine (AI25) due to a malfunction. The crew decided to divert to Kirensk for a safe landing.

East Siberia's Transport Prosecution Office is investigating.
