A Qantas Boeing 737-800, flight QF-1050 from Melbourne,VI to Broome,WA (Australia), was enroute near Adelaide,SA (Australia) when a male passenger (77) suffered symptoms of a heart attack prompting the crew to divert to Adelaide. A doctor on board provided first aid attempting cardiopulmonary resuscitation. The aircraft landed safely on runway 05. The passenger had to be pronounced dead upon arrival however. A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration VH-VYA reached Broome with a delay of 3 hours.
