An Alitalia Airbus A319-100, registration EI-IML performing flight AZ-2016 from Rome Fiumicino to Milan Linate (Italy) with 111 passengers, was climbing through FL150 when the aircraft encountered hail causing damage to the radome. The crew decided to divert to Naples (Italy) where the aircraft landed safely on runway 06 about 35 minutes after departure.
