A Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-300, registration N634SW performing flight WN-3235 from Saint Louis,MO to Fort Myers,FL (USA), had already left cruise altitude and was maintaining FL250 about 15nm west of Tampa International Airport,FL at 18:14Z when the aircraft encountered turbulence causing an injury to a flight attendant. The crew requested paramedics to meet the aircraft at the gate. The aircraft continued to Fort Myers for a safe landing on runway 06 about 15 minutes later.

The FAA confirmed a flight attendant received minor injuries when the aircraft encountered turbulence.
