A replacement Boeing 737-800 registration EI-FIN reached Rzeszow with a delay of 4 hours.
Ryanair's press office stated on Aug 5th 2015: "This flight from East Midlands to Rzeszow last Thursday (30 July) returned to East Midlands shortly after take-off after a possible technical problem caused the pilot to shut down one engine as a safety precaution. The crew performed a single engine landing in line with company procedures. Customers disembarked and switched to a spare aircraft to continue onward to Rzeszow."
On Aug 6th 2015 Ryanair's Chief Pilot added that the right hand engine was showing abnormal indications and was shut down.
