An Air Kyrgyzstan Boeing 737-300, registration EX-37301 performing flight QH-915 from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to Krasnodar (Russia) with 122 people on board, was cleared to land on Krasnodar's runway 05C but touched down on currently closed runway 05R at about 10:45L (07:45Z), rolled out safely and stopped on the runway, where passengers disembarked.

The aircraft was towed to the apron at about 13:10L.

The aircraft departed for its return flight QH-916 on schedule at about 21:15L, about 10.5 hours later.

Runway 05R/23L is currently being reconstructed, the runway itself has already been finished, the aerodrome infrastructure is currently being worked upon, the runway is estimated to return to service in September 2015. The runway is marked with cross marks indicating it is closed.

Russia's Authorities delegated the investigation to the Authorities of Kyrgyzstan.
