An Alitalia Airbus A320-200, registration EI-DTH performing flight AZ-110 from Rome Fiumicino (Italy) to Amsterdam (Netherlands), was descending through FL100 towards Amsterdam when the crew reported they had lost nose wheel steering, they'd be able to vacate the runway but needed to be towed to the apron. The aircraft landed safely on runway 27, vacated the runway and was towed to the gate.

The aircraft was unable to perform the return flight AZ-109, the flight was cancelled.
