A Cobham Boeing 717-200 on behalf of Qantas, registration VH-YQW performing flight QF-1507 from Melbourne,VI to Hobart,TA (Australia), was descending towards Hobart when the crew declared emergency reporting a fuel leak. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Hobart's runway 12.

Qantas confirmed a minor fuel leak at the end of the flight and a flashing fuel indication.

The aircraft is still on the ground in Hobart 11 hours after landing.
