A Piedmont de Havilland Dash 8-200 on behalf of US Airways, registration N839EX performing flight PDT-4891/US-4891 from Charlottesville,VA to Philadelphia,PA (USA) with 34 people on board, was on approach to Philadelphia when the crew reported the failure of the #1 hydraulic system. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Philadelphia's runway 09R, vacated the runway and stopped clear of the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
