A British Airways Airbus A320-200, registration G-TTOE performing flight BA-316 from London Heathrow,EN (UK) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), was on final approach to Paris' runway 08R when the crew initiated a missed approach at about 2000 feet and climbed to 5000 feet due to an unsafe gear indication. While working the checklists the crew performed an alternate gear extension, positioned for an approach to runway 08L and landed safely about 30 minutes after aborting the first approach.
