A Condor Boeing 767-300, registration D-ABUM performing flight DE-5315 from Mauritius (Mauritius) to Frankfurt/Main (Germany), was enroute, when the captain, pilot monitoring, felt increasingly sick. About 6 hours into the flight, at FL360 in Greek Airspace, the captain decided he was no longer able to command the aircraft, handed command to the senior first officer who assumed the role as pilot monitoring and commander. The captain left the cockpit and was treated by a doctor travelling amongst the passengers. The crew declared emergency prior to arrival in Frankfurt, the first officer, who had been pilot flying since departure from Mauritius, landed the aircraft safely in Frankfurt.

On Jun 29th 2015 Germany's BFU released their March Bulletin reporting the occurrence was rated a serious incident and is being investigated by the BFU.
