A Morningstar Air Express Boeing 757-200, registration N906FD performing freight flight MAL-7055 from Calgary,AB to Vancouver,BC (Canada) with 2 crew, was on approach to Vancouver when the crew selected flaps 15 but received indication that the left hand flaps remained at 5 degrees and the right hand flaps had deployed to 15 degrees, no flaps disagree or asymmetry warnings occurred however. The crew went around, worked the related checklists, positioned for a second approach and landed safely on runway 26R.

The Canadian TSB reported maintenance inspected the flaps system and found no faults.
