A replacement A320-200 registration HA-LWI was estimated to reach Bologna with a delay of 4.5 hours but needed to divert to Venice (Italy), spent two hours on the ground in Venice before continuing to Bologna and reaching the destination with a delay of 7:15 hours.
On Jun 17th 2015 the airline reported the outer pane of a cockpit window panel cracked, the aircraft returned to Sofia. Another aircraft departed Sofia about 4 hours later but needed to divert to Venice due to thunderstorms in Bologna, the aircraft encountered light turbulence. While descending towards Venice the captain requested an ambulance to meet the aircraft due to a passenger suffering from a diabetic problem.
