A Kalstar Avions de Transport Regional ATR-72-212A, registration PK-KSD performing flight KD-946 from Pontianak to Putussibau (Indonesia) with 37 passengers, was climbing out of Pontianak when the crew stopped the climb at 10,000 feet due to a hydraulic failure and returned to Pontianak for a safe landing on runway 33 and stopped at the end of the runway. The aircraft was towed to the apron.
