An Iran Aseman Airlines Boeing 727-200, registration EP-ASB performing flight EP-3920 from Tehran Mehrabad to Zahedan (Iran), was climbing out of Tehran when the crew needed to return to Tehran due to a hydraulic failure. The aircraft landed safely back in Tehran about 50 minutes after departure.

A replacement Airbus A320-200 registration EP-APE reached Zahedan with a delay of 4.5 hours.
