An Alaska Airlines Boeing 737-900, registration N462AS performing flight AS-601 (dep May 17th) from Las Vegas,NV to Seattle,WA (USA) with 173 people on board, touched down on Seattle's runway 34R at 00:05L (07:05Z), another aircraft was cleared to line up behind them, the crew of the aircraft lining up reported seeing some fire, sparks and smoke from the left main gear, tower reporting seeing nothing from tower. The aircraft rolled out while emergency services responded, the aircraft stopped on the runway with both left main tyres deflated. The occurrence crew queried whether it was the right or left main gear, the crew waiting for departure reconfirmed it was the left main gear, they were not seeing any debris on the runway. The waiting aircraft was instructed to taxi to runway 34L and departed from there. Emergency services requested the left engine of the occurrence Boeing to be shut down, then reported both left main gear tyres were "gone". The aircraft was disabled, the crew shut the aircraft down, the passengers disembarked onto the runway via mobile stairs and were bussed to the terminal, the aircraft was subsequently towed to the apron.
