An Expressjet Embraer ERJ-145 on behalf of United, registration N13118 performing flight EV-4291/UA-4291 from Houston Intercontinental,TX (USA) to San Luis Potosi (Mexico), was enroute at FL360 about 110nm southsouthwest of San Antonio,TX when the crew reported unreliable airspeed and a lot of other bad indications and decided to divert to San Antonio. On approach to San Antonio the approach controller inquired that according to his information they had received a lightning strike, the crew replied negative, we have a lot of bad indications and blocked airspeed. The aircraft was vectored around precipitation for an approach to runway 04, where the aircraft landed safely about 100 minutes after departure from Houston.

A replacement Embraer ERJ-145 reached San Luis Potosi as flight EV-2418 the following morning with a total delay of 15 hours.
