A Nordstar Boeing 737-800, registration VQ-BDO performing flight Y7-106 from Norilsk to Moscow Domodedovo (Russia) with 153 passengers and 7 crew, was on approach to Domodedovo's runway 32R when the crew went around from about 1000 feet MSL due to a problem with the flaps. The aircraft positioned for another approach to runway 32R and landed safely at a higher than normal speed about 20 minutes after aborting the first approach.

The West Siberian Transportation Prosecution Office opened an investigation into the occurrence reporting the crew received indication of asymmetric flaps.
